Urban

locationguide.png

RINO (Denver)
Graffiti, texture, bright colors, alleys, easy free street parking

UNION STATION (Denver)
Tall white pillars, stairs, bridges & trains. Shooting inside is only available Sun-Wed from 1-3pm and permit needed (it's free but need 2 weeks to apply)

THE SOURCE (Denver)
One of my favorite spots downtown - includes colorful parking garage with city views, industrial area including glass garage door, brick & greenery, bridge with hanging lights, and metal wall. Perfect senior photo spot!

LODO/RIVERFRONT PARK (Denver)
Alleys, fence, stairs, gorgeous bridge... this is my favorite spot downtown because there is very low foot traffic even on weekends & easy parking.

MILLENNIUM BRIDGE (Denver)
Stairs, great overlook of the city, awesome little corners for portraits. The lighting on this bridge is magical! It is a popular spot though, for pedestrians & other photographers. There is also a park across the street with a tree-lined path - gorgeous in fall!

THEATRE DISTRICT (Denver)
Yellow wall, stairs, old architecture

CONFLUENCE PARK (Denver)
Water and rocks with bridges in background, cement stairs, graffiti wall, bridge with city views in walking distance, park across bridge with hill for skyscraper or sky views - great mix of downtown & nature - REI is right beside it providing brick, urban feels

PARKING GARAGE (Denver)
Get a downtown vibe without onlookers - City scape, variety of concrete backdrops, teal door, close to Union Station & Millennium Bridge

DOWNTOWN MORRISON (Morrison)
Bridge, textures, close to trails, pairs well with Red Rocks (can be busy when there are shows)

PEARL STREET (Boulder)
Cool buildings, lots of textures & colors, old theater marquee sign, mountain views from parking garage

DOWNTOWN WESTMINSTER (Westminster)
Lots of different metal & textures, great option for headshots & branding, but also for those that want an "urban" feel but looking for something less busy than Denver (there is also a tunnel and bright painted wall not pictured)

DOWNTOWN BRIGHTON (Brighton)
Lots of different textures, alleys, fences, great option for northern clients looking for something "urban" but don't want to head into Denver

OTHER URBAN AREAS ON MY LIST TO EXPLORE
Tennyson Street (Berkley area of Denver)

 Courthouse (1801 Stout, Denver)

DOWNTOWN LITTLETON (Littleton)
Small area with lots of variety, bright door/garage, brick, stairs and alleyway views
